... simple, really. The staff member claimed she was there for 'house keeping'. Her presence was merely so when Jordan looked through the peephole, it was the Aussie and the Yank she saw. Clever, huh?! It kind of worked, but Jordan expected us to do something. Nonetheless, it was so good to see Jordie! We spent some time catching up before we hit up FLL. ... which is only a block away and loaded up on supplies then back home where I cooked us a lovely vegetable stir fry pasta with a yummy creamy garlic sauce (yes that was out of a bottle) I did add some beef for the others as well. That pretty much was our first night in Miami, we were all ready for bed very early!

I cant ant find any photos of our last few hours in Vegas... Just too tired to be bothered taking the camera out I ...

We are really on our way. Greg is singing "I'm leaving on a jet plane" We managed to pack all our warm clothes in less than the 33 lbs. limit. Thanks to Mom Dad and Grace for delivering us to the airport. We had a nice farewell dinner at Panera's, now we can settle in for a long winters nap. Much more to follow. Next. Stop Santiago. ...

... weather cleared to reveal there were another 5 cruise ships including Oasis' sister ship "Allure of the Seas" in port. We cannot believe that another 20,000 passengers will depart this afternoon. We found the local Laundromat and managed to get all our clothes washed ready for our next destination, Austin Texas in 3 days time.

Florida boasts more than 3,000 hours of sunshine each year and a balmy 77 degree average ...

... at least one activity for each sea day. These range from a cabin crawl where we visit a cabin from each category, including the Penthouse Suite (the head cheerleader is staying there) to a wine tasting. We’re having workshops on IPad use, camera techniques, etc.

I’m down for the crawl and the tasting (including a contest for most inventive wrapping of the wine bottle, which I think I have nailed). I may go to the IPad workshop to ...
