    Hidden Canopy Treehouses- Beautiful setting.

    25 sq ft. Treehouse Chalet features a king-size canopy bed, indoor sitting area with forest view and mini-bar and coffee bar. Outdoor 100+sq ft semi-covered deck offers intimate exposure to the forest. Private bath has fantasy stone waterfall shower.

    Breakfast (included) in the main house from 7 am to 9 am daily.
    Happy Hour (Afternoon tea--included) from 5 pm until 6 pm (daily on the main house balcony). We serve a light snack (savory and sweet) and the beverage of your choice (beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks)at our social hour nightly until 6pm.

    Leaving in a treehouse was amazing. Very nice staff and excellent food. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

    The logistics of the taxi boat taxi (shared shuttle) involve: 20-25 min drive from downtown La Fortuna to the dam of Arenal Lake, 30-40 min boat ride through Lake Arenal and about 1 hour and 30 min drive from Rio Chiquito to the hotel in Monteverde.

    ... and we hiked most of them. Our first path took us through a swamp forest to a viewpoint which sits on Costa Rica's continental divide. Then we hiked up the highest trail on the preserve which reached 5,500 feet above sea level. On our way back down, we walked over a 300 foot suspension bridge with spectacular views of the cloud forest canopy.
