    Hidden Canopy Treehouses- Beautiful setting.

    25 sq ft. Treehouse Chalet features a king-size canopy bed, indoor sitting area with forest view and mini-bar and coffee bar. Outdoor 100+sq ft semi-covered deck offers intimate exposure to the forest. Private bath has fantasy stone waterfall shower.

    Breakfast (included) in the main house from 7 am to 9 am daily.
    Happy Hour (Afternoon tea--included) from 5 pm until 6 pm (daily on the main house balcony). We serve a light snack (savory and sweet) and the beverage of your choice (beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks)at our social hour nightly until 6pm.

    Leaving in a treehouse was amazing. Very nice staff and excellent food. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

    The logistics of the taxi boat taxi (shared shuttle) involve: 20-25 min drive from downtown La Fortuna to the dam of Arenal Lake, 30-40 min boat ride through Lake Arenal and about 1 hour and 30 min drive from Rio Chiquito to the hotel in Monteverde.

    ... again were incredible until a suicidal bird flew right at me and set me on a slight spin for the remaining 100m! The next superman cable was the longest in Central America at 1530m long taking nearly two minutes to slide down!     Our cabin was located at the top of a steep path, with a stunning view from the verandah and our bed. The floor, walls and ceiling were made from beautiful polished hardwood and the boys had a loft style bedroom. Joanne and I sat on the verandah, sipping cool beer, listening to the cacophony of forest sounds all around us; our home for the next 5 days.
