    ... off so lovely....my Cheney colleagues and friends, my fabulous OSP netball girls, my school/NUAS/Uni/Newcastle friends old and new from all corners of the UK, and my amazing family who have allowed me to use my adventure as a great excuse to get us all together.     All packed and ready to go, we headed down to the train station. We caught the 9:45 from Wool to Poole, where we then picked up the coach to London Heathrow. I dropped Lucy off at the station entrance and left her looking like a bag lady for fifteen minutes �� while I dumped the car back at home then had a brisk walk �� back to the station. Our 3396 mile trip to the Big Apple has begun... South West trains did us proud ...

    ... roadway and all the cars slow down as they rubberneck looking at the site. It was very interesting listening to the audio as we walked around the site and once again we find it hard to believe we are actually here, standing only meters away from this prehistoric monument. Stuart and myself decided this is one of the coolest places that we have had a picnic lunch. ...

    What a joy to have almost 10 days off from travelling and staying in Bournemouth in my brothers house with no particular itinerary! Walking is the theme for this week and Fitbit has clocked up an average of 15000 steps per day!

    For the first few days Chris & Jane are with us and we visit the historic Portsmouth dockyards...a great visit to see ...

    ... Mozzarella cheese when it becomes brown and grows out of the tupperware container. The smell was very strong to day the least. Luckily Dod's has no sense of smell and she couldn't really understand what the fuss was about.
