... was sensational & so reasonable - $11 for mine & $5 for the soup. A trip to the gift shop of course & then we're off to walk across the Hudson. Huge, high bridge over a mile long. Freezing cold & windy. Great view though. ... crazy good. It was called a tuna salad toasted flatbread with potato chips not pasta salad. What it was; pizza dough with cheese kneaded into it then cooked. Cover it in iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion & tuna salad, fold it in half & toast it briefly. Potato crisps on the side. Oh my god. $9. ... times. And, the dimness also helped keep the furnishings from deteriorating. I guess much of the furniture was donated along with the house and the library. I am a bit hazy on this now. I did notice how rather modest the upstairs furnishings were. Some of the furniture was substantial and probably expensive but there were a lot of twin beds in rooms that were not huge by today's standards....and no king size beds either.
