... don’t think I’ve ever paid so much per gram for food. Fortunately there was very good unlimited bread and butter as an accompaniment. I kept thinking, though, 'Not fair. The lady sitting over there at the next table has a much more adult size portion that I do!’ I suspect I either chose the fanciest things on the menu that come in the smallest portions, or more likely that the three-course price-fixe courses are served in smaller portions than what ...

This place was beautiful during the fall. Also saw Bull's Covered Bridge. Too bad they did not have a campground ...

    ... too long!

Upon reaching the water, we get a very nice treat at the Brooklyn Ice Cream factory: I get a (very generous) scoop of blueberry ice cream in a waffle cone, and it's delicious! Not fearing the ridicule, we get two tickets for the nearby Jane's Carrousel, which has an amazing view on Manhattan, just between Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge.

Carol having a meeting at 6:30pm, I accompany her to the place and then head home where I can finally ...
