... in San Marco square. This place was a true gem. Behind the palace walls was room upon room of the most decadent artwork covering the walls and ceilings. It is also home to the largest piece of artwork in the world. This museum was much more than a palace - it included a rich history of Venice's politics and the royal family and included access to the old prison cells and weapons used in war. This city has a colourful history and through my walking ...

On our way back to the train station, we stopped by Mirabell Palace and gardens. The gardens were intricately detailed with patterns among the florals. These numbers are boosted dramatically every year for five weeks near the end of July, when Salzburg hosts the Salzburg Music Festival. A festival that began here in 1920. This being the birth place of Mozart, ...

Today our damn roommates woke up at 7 am to get out by 8:30. I have no idea why all of these terrible roommates in hostels flock to Salzburg. Dani and I set our alarms for 8:30 but because of all of the noise, we snoozed until 9:30. We then checked out and locked up our bags for the day. We walked towards the town center and ate at this nice organic food cafe. The owner like like a mega marathon runner based on the things on the walls. We had eggs. It was ...

Toured Mozart's residence which was another free entry with the Salzburg Card.

Marlene and I went shopping, and saw a Xmas store with multi, multi dozens of decorated eggs...crazy. And the guys went to the catacombs.

€37 for a bus tour through lakes and mountains to the Sound of Music locations.

At the end of the tour Glenn got up ...
