... of Leopoldskroner. The "konzert" took place high above that however. After dinner, and climbing an indeterminable number of stairs to the top of the fortress we were treated to a gorgeous setting for the most incredible chamber music and sunset over Salzburg. What a night. Note regarding GPS and Wifi: In June, our district gave us an info sheet via email about using Airplane mode and Wifi when travelling to avoid hidden charges. It has worked like a charm. I discovered ...

I might have popped in somewhere to stay dry like any sensible person - but I chose to forge on and wend my way back. I met this family from Israel with two little kids. The dad was very friendly and kept offering to give me his boy and some money to take him (as a joke of course). For some reason, I always find Israelis to be the nicest people and they make me feel at home (prob thanks to Beni and Daniella :-)

... its many large beer halls. You can go there everyday from 3pm - 11pm and sit amongst the locals drinking either half or full steins of beer. They make only one brew and that is served until it runs out, with everyone drinking from the same (provided) steins. As you can imagine, Brendan was a little excited to get there, so we managed a pretty fast walk down the other side of he hill until we came upon it, The Augustiner! We had a beer here, well I had an Almdudler (a popular Austrian soft ...
