... expect. We take in the night lights of Dubai for while before descending in the elevator as quickly as we went up. We got the metro back to the hotel, it was nearing eleven pm and the carriages were crammed full as if it were rush hour on the London Underground. Men were even seated in the women and children only carriages, which is a big no no out here and comes with a fine if caught. It's been a long day, so the comfy bed beckons, and sleep follows not long ...

Day 46- Tues 14th Oct 2014 Went to the gold market also brought the genuine saffron. One strand of saffron put into luke warm water turned it yellow after around 60 seconds without loosing colour. Went on the local trains which were super clean and on time every 5 ...

... along Jumeirah Beach then headed back to the hotel to the Executive floor for happy hour.. A glass of Perrier champagne was quite a nice nightcap...and so we couldn't stop at one!!

6am flight to Dubai. Breakfast served at 8am. I watched 'At Middleton', 'saving Mr Banks', 'Railway Man' and ' the Other Woman'! Bob watched'Hotel Budapest', 'Jack Ryan', 'Rob the Mob'. Movies helped us take our minds off the turbulence over Malaysia and India- had to wear seat belts! Very easy getting through the airport - just had to wait a little while for baggage. ...
