... at fountains along the road or in the mountains. b) the wells you see in use are so well maintained and protected, that in the end we did drink water fom it sometimes. Normally they have covers and roofs, the buckets are shining new, and people get old with it anyway. Of course you have to take a well that is in use and not one of the many that are left to fall apart.
