... year for 3 months. We have January and cannot sign up for Feb until the end of the month when the current renters get first dibs on next year . Same goes for March. We did spend quite a bit of time discussing the w/c house during dinner. Next week is our last here on Anna Maria and I hope to spend it just enjoying being here. No more trips to Venice. No more stress about finding a place. Just enjoying the beach and the sun. Things will become clear eventually.........I ...

... out of cars, blinking in the sun, wrinkled and tired but smiling because "we are here!". The dog park people are full of advice on how to deal with THE TRAFFIC. "If you need anything off island you have to go very early in the morning or after dark." " if you want to go out to eat you need to do it during the week or very early or late at night". ... and then getting on with our day. For the Captain, this generally means work of one sort or another as opposed to recreational activities. His philosophy is that anything that can be done on the boat is relaxing to him, even if it seems to be work to anyone else. Who can argue with that? ... Wish me luck!

PS- There were dolphins. Amazing dolphins. They jumped like eight feet in the air. We watched them from my Grandma's porch at sunset last night. It was phenomenal. Utterly phenomenal. Sea World can suck it. Too bad we didn't buy the camera until today.
