    ... we didn't have too long before arriving at our camp site, on the Mississippi again (after 2 weeks and copious miles)! We sat around for a bit getting to know our new group, and played Frisbee for a while as well. We had a lot more patience with this group and I feel like we put a lot more effort into getting to know them, as we would be with them for 2 weeks instead of 1.

    ... I had their chicken noodle soup, Classic Mac and chicken, and Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling. On the way back to my gate, I grabbed a Caribou campfire mocha, my fav. My hair was driving me crazy and I realized I didn't pack a hairband. I couldn't find any at the convenience stores and I refused to buy a scrunchie. I did buy a little emergency kit and some gum. It had a safety pin the I used to get a couple splinters out of my knuckle (no idea where those came from). ...
