... I read that Kuta is a small place where only surfers come. I'm not a surfer yet, but ready to learn! When we drove in the village, I felt something that told me I would really like this place. The driver brought me to a very nice guesthouse. The staff and travelers were all amazing people. As I never surfed before, I took some lessons the next three days. By scooter we had to go to the baby beach where the waves are surfable for beginners. I took us maybe 40 min to get there, but it ...

... denim shorts and then met up with our guide. Although, when I asked him if he was a guide he said no. Maybe he was just a random lad looking for some money. Either way he was nice so we followed him and his music on loudspeaker on our way to the two tier waterfall. He took us a back way that he knew which meant we avoided paying entrance and also gave us a much more scenic route following the stream running down from the waterfall into the town. Along the way we ...

So by 2 o'clock Esta had to get a taxi into Senggigi as she's going to Bali today and me and Anna waited on the side of the road for one of Lombok's public cars which apparently take you anywhere for really low prices. We were standing and waiting for absolutely ages and of course it started raining, all the days in our entire trip it could have poured with rain and the world decided it must be when ...

... all our beach gear. Over 30 degrees with no water. Luckily around half way we stumbled upon a little local woman selling water. She massively ripped us off but at least we survived. The island was beautiful. Once your out of the town it is just beautiful beaches untouched by man. The water changes from cyan blue to deep and dark from the drop off zone. The place is a little slice of paradise. When we arrived back at the hostel we bumped into Rachel who was also ...

... Bali volcano jutting out of the sea in a perfect pyramid where to die for. For the first time we really felt like we where on our adventure. Then we got a puncture! We weren't surprised, actually we found it slightly amusing, but only slightly. after all we now had to push the motor bike In the sweltering sun. But fortune smiled and it wasn't long before we found a guy who could repair the puncture for us. His work shop consisted of a small dilapidated shack ...
