"I don't feel comfortable with you touching me like that," I said. This half-second of indignity - a half-second too long - came to its end. I proceeded to my flight's gate.
-----As I sat there, waiting to see if there'd be room for me on the flight, I began to think ...

There are two bridge at ground level that cross the waterway and three bridge at the top. The two lower bridges are wooden on steel supports. They go down into the water to a depth on 8 feet when boats ...

April 29: We're in a little open-roofed bus that is taking us to a mountain high above the Greek coastal town of Nafplion, the old capital of Greece. Far below, the Mediterrean Sea is a sweeping bay of glittering blue beneath a cloudless sky. It's a magic moment on the Mediterranean coast. The bus stops and we're at the castle, the Fortress of Palamidi, built in the 1700s by the Venetians as a bastion to protect the Greek capital. Public transport in Greece ...

... in Corinth. I later discovered this room is not usually open but an earlier group was given special access and they forgot to close the door.

These kids were everywhere, and the buses kept coming disgorging more and more students. They did not want to be there any more than I wanted them there. For the first time I longed for the very serious German tourist busload, or perhaps the Japanese tour group buzzing around the site ...

... and gyros. Boo and David Lewis said it was the best gyros they have ever had!!! I'm so glad for Boo - since it's her birthday!!!! Yipee.

As Craig and I walked through town we noticed our orchestra poster advertised everywhere - pharmacy, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, phone booths etc… That was very fun to see!!!!

Tolo is a traditional Greek fishing village. It's very cute and quaint.
