... Said to Rod sth at I really didn't want to see anymore museums - and he agreed. Drive back to the B&B via cheap $ supermarket to buy toothpaste and pretzels. ... our money got released from our travel card this morning and so are able to pay the bill with the card. Gives us more breathing space as coming down to the last dollars. Funny how I rang the langham yesterday and they assured me it was the bank. Next day the bank released the funds. ... Primary (like my school back home). It was COLD in Chatham - very cold. but we still looked around the streets and visited the park which had a great display for Halloween. From here we drove to Provincetown at the end of the Cape.
Saturday we went over on the big ferry to Martha's Vineyard (an island off Cape Cod). It was so windy and cold, but we had a good time.

... local Wampanoag natives called it Patuxet. We toured the Plimoth Plantation, a recreation of the original settlement and also a native homesite. It features locals dressed in period costume and speaking as 17th century English. They professed no knowledge of anything beyond "their" times. Very cool. W e missed the Nye Barn which had heritage breeds of the animals the Pilgrims had. Sad, because I know how hard it is to find a good Gravenstein ...
