    ... owners of the guesthouse; went to the waterfall close by, made a day trip by scooter around the lake and to the beach, prepared some Indonesian food together (gado-gado and tempe), went canoeing on the lake and played games together.     ... br> We rested the rest of the day, and the next day too we took a short walk to the bat cave to see the bats before generally taking it easy, enjoying the beautiful scenery and organising a trip to see some Sumatran elephants the next day. We met some guy at our guesthouse who didn't believe Terry's beard was real, he walked up and gave it a hard tug and caused T some pain.........but it stayed on! Yes my unknown friend it's real - and don't ever do that ...

    ... car park after dodging a couple of run away horses and our driver was no where to be seen? We were already behind schedule due to the missing Malaysians and if we didn’t get back soon the domino effect of missing this jeep would mean we’d miss our bus to Probolinggo, miss our connection to the ferry, miss the ferry and then the connection to Denpasar where a nice hotel was waiting for us, all of which we’d already paid for…

    ... at the same time :-/. So this was my last chance, once down 15m Edwin signalled me to do it, but he followed me the whole way keeping me calm and I did it correctly..yay! I could enjoy the rest of the dive and have some fun :).     ... slope, slid into me and sent me flailing! The next thing I knew, all I could hear was our guide in hysterics, who had just safely made it to the bottom and was standing next to the stream! It was hilarious! Chris and I were both covered in mud and sprawled across the steep bank, clinging onto rocks!

    The comedy continued with Chris falling over anything and everything, and being as quiet and discreet as a fairy elephant! There goes our chances of seeing any ...
