... to Denver. It seems to all of us that going to New York City is a mistake. Even if the airports reopen, the city is dark, P&M&J&D are in a midtown hotel rather than at their darkened home and the city is not itself. A visit there at this time makes little sense.

Rainy London
... to life and have made me grateful for the incredible men who led the Allies during WWII. When we came out of the museum it had stopped raining and there was a bit of sun. We walked through St James' Park where we encountered squirrels and geese that have lost all fear of people and literally beg for food. I've never seen anything like it. I'm on a Boat
... a potential picnic later then headed back (on foot, again!) We went back to the room and ended up having an in-room picnic lunch because of the on and off rain.
We stayed in the room for a nice break and watched some Olympics on TV. The weather cleared up around dinner time, so we headed back into town for some Peking Duck. The Chinatown spot we chose was somewhat disappointing but with our bellies full and feet tired, we headed home on the Tube and tucked each other in :)

Some of the students here are hilarious. Which, is very beneficial when you're walking around in spring style rain in the middle of summer and your shoes are soaking wet.
