Founded in 1663 on 4 acres next to the Thames, it was originally and still is filled with plants used by apothecaries. Now it is a wonderful oasis for loligagging and learning.         ... t smell. The cabs themselves are spacious and clean. New York, take note.

        Back at Foley Street we decide to have diner across the
        street. B4 has the pork chop and I have the stuffed chicken while we
        share a bottle of wine and conversation of those newly met even though we are
        familiar and us. The exertions of the past days have caught up with us and we
        are calling it a night. More tomorrow when we are again fresh.

        ... to the London Eye. Finally, we went to the Natural History Museum. The weather held out for the afternoon and the kids all had a great time. After dinner at Paddington station we stopped at Kings Cross to see platform 9 and 3/4. We then took off to meet our guide for the Jack the Ripper walking tour.         ... famous theatre from Shakespeare's time, in the early 1600's. We had a guided tour there which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. It has lots of oak, to hold up all the weight of the people. There are no nails, just wooden pegs, and it has a thatch roof with a sprinkler system, which is needed in the middle of London.
