6th to 13th June

Due to getting well behind with my blog entries, this is a quick overview of Uzbekistan, hence the title of this entry and will contain more photographs than text!!!

On Wednesday morning we arrived at the Turkmenistan/Uzbekistan border to find that the Turk side was shut for lunch!!

So we had to stand about for an hour in 40 degree plus temperatures until the lazy sods could be bothered to finish their lunch. ...

Actually I think Luda's russian way of negotiating (very very aggressive) may have perhaps made things worse.
