Today was an "OMG!" day. We first went to a picturesque village called Ucagiz where we rented kayaks. Then we kayaked out of the harbor along the coast through some islands to another small town. The water was warm and the most perfect color of blue that we've seen - truly aquamarine. Large turtles would raise up their heads as we kayaked past them and then dive down again. ... the top deck, down under the boat and out into the sea at the side. We headed straight to the top deck for the best view of the islands and, of course, a spot to sunbathe! The boat soon filled up with about 200 (mainly Turkish) tourists and we began our voyage to view the beautiful surrounding islands.
