... There were people ice skating and I was a little mind****ed by the posters who said " winter festival starting in July". How could it be winter in July??

Day 3 – Fri 4 July - At Sea

What a good night's sleep we had. The ship has a slight roll on but it’s like being rocked to sleep. Our cabin (stateroom) is on Deck 8 not far from the bridge with its own balcony. We are very happy to have this upgrade. After breakfast we went in search of the Medical Centre thinking we could get some anti-inflammatories at the pharmacy. ... at a lovely restaurant. Never have we been served by so many people, the staff were great and Rob the chef even sat and had a beer with us. He basically told us his life story and about all the 'Deadshits' in his life. Suffice to say he got progressively more and more drunk as the night went on and progressively more offensive towards his staff. ... light and sound that runs outside my hotel door, every night until midnight. The entire harbor area of town is turned into a massive projection screen with video mapping on everything from skyscrapers to museums to the Sydney Opera House. It's like human bumper cars out there because everyone, young and old, is mesmerized by what's happening around them, and joyfully loosing their direction.
