... lost track of me cause I took the wrong way, but thanks to my shiny white panniers she could see me behind the bushes. Phew. We also met a couple of French people who told us about the Melk abbey and a guided tour in French at 3. ... to a vineyard which had 'open house' this week. Apparently they are allocated one week each quarter to open up a wine cellar in their yrds , for Snacks and sampling this year's produce! the place was packed, but we squeezed in at the end of a Long table, and set to to sample away. At 2 Euro per large glass, it was a good evening. I had a muscatelle, a neuchatel and a sparkling rose before finishing with a Riesling! As for the Snack platter, the photos say it all!
