Plates of tons of things, from grilled fish, to fried fish, papaya flowers, fried calamari, ache (cucumber and carrots in a vinegar sauce), bean sprouts with peppers, tempe (fermented soybean cakes), along with multiple sauces, some hot some sweet. ... getting into the chorus shouting out the words at top volume. We where very relieved that torture was over, however now the fan had stopped as well. The room soon became stiflingly hot, and I was finding it hard to breath. We didn't get much sleep that night. By the morning the room had cooled off and the thick grey clouds over head stopped the sun from heating up the day again. As we where having breakfast the biblical floods started once again. There is no natural ...
