    Our 3rd entrance to Hanoi. Our fantastic guesthouse must have double booked our room and immediately gave us free taxi ride to another hotel - even better grade - we only had prepaid US$30 per night and this upgrade we noticed cost US$50pn so good deal - no complaints from us and the road/hotel was much quieter location only a few blocks away. …

    A day after arriving in Hanoi, we left on our three day, two night cruise of Halong Bay and Cat Ba Island. These were beautiful Limestone karst islands (over 3000 of them), almost always covered in a layer of mist and rain (although Top Gear cover this part up super well in their Vietnam special!)
