      We have ended our "sightseeing" trip and are now just traveling by interstate to get home. We thought we would comment on the differences we experienced between the US and Canada - the good, the bad and the ugly...... eh?

      ... plant in 1938 and started producing Beefaroni and other Boyardee products. It is still in operation today. We also enjoyed eating at the Fence Drive-In restaurant twice, very good fish sandwiches and fried chicken!!

      Tomorrow we move about 70 miles down the road to the capital of Pennyslvania, Harrisburg. We will be staying thru Labor Day. We hope to to visit Gettysburg, Hershey and Lancaster.

      ... earplugs. Sigh. We drove about 300 miles today, stopping for the night at Echo Valley Campground in Ravine, PA. Very pretty and quiet place, forty or so miles from Harrisburg.       ... first wife, my grandmother, died in 1919 during the post-WW I flu epidemic, along with three children. Her name was Agnes Frances Lee and my mother was Frances Veronica Carlson.
