... a couple of episodes of House Rules and went for a walk to fill in the afternoon. Unfortunately I had to head back over to Nikki's so we could go down to the club and coach the juniors for the night. So again, they continued to dribble on about how good England are and how "****" Australia are. Only five kids turned up to training out of both the under 11s and under 13s. It makes it difficult ...

The damp winter had penetrated the house so Andy and I spent a couple of days drying it out and airing it. A great excuse to get the 118 belting out the heat, Jotul really are masters of stove technology the only drawback is no view of the flames on the burning logs as the 118 is really a cast iron boiler unit which maximises heat ...

... the acro props, the stones were stabilised by the render on the inside of the wall. Outside we had one shaky moment when the stones in the wall at the top of the opening started to shift and threatened to collapse. We eventually got some acros in place, the outside lintel in and the stones above it cemented into place. The next couple of days saw the remainder of the opening being removed, the window frame in and windows fitted so all was well. All that was left was to point the ...
