... hop to Sri Lanka, one Muppets Movie and a questionable breakfast omelette later and a weeny nap we arrived to the heat of Colombo. The best bit so when you get off go through immigration, visas etc you often end up in a duty free well not quite! Here you have a modest duty free to your left and what can only be described as a bazaar for all white electronic goods? Although he is the coach he's more there to support us teaching them with the translation, he is obviously very keen and proud of the swimming project and showed us a photo album at the start today. I really enjoyed teaching swimming today, but walking along an outside pool edge in pouring rain trying to explain can be a bit challenging. Really keen for more swimming placements, so hopefully they don't get cancelled and we can see more ...

No pirates again, I think the Captain said we exit the danger area this morning, so I guess our 3 hired guns, who I still haven't seen, will take their big pay check and leave us be! In one last attempt to find a better shopping environment, we went to a resort which I read had great “Western shopping”. Upon arrival it was like a breath of fresh air after coming from the previous malls. There was an actual shopping mall attached to the resort ……much more like what we are used to at home!!!!!
