A travel blog entry by a.baker.abroad on Jun 04, 2015

After wonderful days in Lucerne exploring the mountains and lakes we headed south to Interlaken in search of some more adventure. We arrived in Interlaken just after lunch and checked into our riverside lodge, home for the next 3 nights. Basic but comfortable right on the rivers edge. We grabbed some lunch and as many brochures on things to do around Interlaken as we could. We had our eye on 2 things in particular - bungy and canyoning! However we wanted some ...

We caught a train to Wengen. We decided to eat lunch here. It was the ...

... luggage. Not worth the thought but that is what it was like in London.
Paris is moderately crowded at rush hour and we transition surprisingly smoothly to Gare de Lyon. It is an enormous station serving, South of France, Italy and Switzerland. We get there an hour before departure, get some coffee and something to eat at the Costa outlet. With the French, it does not matter the time of day or place, there is always something and somewhere to eat beautiful food. It reminds ...

    Our random bus trip

Today we decided to make the most of our free bus ticket...so we decided to catch the bus to lake Brienz (Riggenberg). We actually had no idea what was there but thought we could just wing it. We got off the bus and walked straight down to the lake. It was very pretty down there but wasn't much to see, so we climbed up the hill again to catch another bus. We had overheard a local telling ...
