... viewing area as there were ropes preventing you from going too far and falling off the slope. I managed to take a couple of videos of the mountains and the station and the photos came out beautifully with the vivid blue sky. There was thankfully no wind up there at all, which was a blessing as it was very cold with the temperature below 0. Back into the complex we walked through the tunnels to the other end where you could also get out onto the snow ...

... I can't even blink. This is a reality now. I'm experiencing the "why" Switzerland is the BEST place to skydive. Rolling hills of lush green, mountain tops covered white and the vast multiple valleys that are scattered with little towns. Higher and higher the plane climbs. We reach our altitude for jumping. The door slides up and over our heads as the plane is immediately filled with rushing air. THIS IS IT! One jumper before me hops out as ...

Our return route took us through Wengenwald and then to Lauterbrunnen, before returning to Interlacken. The scenery on this route is breathtaking, and I've shared a few photos. Tommorrow we're on the road again heading for 2 days in Zurrich. More from there.

... they filmed here years ago and then we set off down again. Once again the scenery was to die for.

We saw hangliders leaping off cliffs and they hung in the air for quite a while before zooming off down the valley until they were specks in the distance. We heard helicopters from time to time and we think these guys were being dropped off to start their glide. It certainly would have been a long way to climb.

... bands come through the main street. The whole day was lots of fun. Near the end of our visit, the rain turned into snow, which made the city even prettier. I can see this being one of my favorite cities in Europe.  Sunday morning on of our group leaders lead a trek out to the lake near Interlaken. As you will see, the lake and the views were amazing. Even the color of the water was an amazing turquoise color. After it snowed all day Saturday, the mountains ...
