... sampling everything, and were full to overflowing after about an hour! Satisfied, we caught a lift on a pedal cart to the Ryman for our concert, which also gave us some more relief from the stifling heat. The Ryman started out as a church but turned into an amazing historic theatre. ... happens that 'Chili' is located in the Opry Mills Outlet Mall so what better way to walk off lunch than by shopping - so off we all went - I was really boring and had my nails done but the other three had success - shoes, clothes - the usuals. Amazing

Shopping is thirst work so off to the Nashville palace for afternoon cocktails and more live music.

... He was in the right place. For $6, the plate was full of three large pieces of fried chicken, baked beans, white bread and SLAW. A combo to block the arteries and stretch the fat pants. We are beginning to really miss fresh fruit and vegetables. Apart from the fried chicken experience, the only thing going for Memphis, Tennessee was Graceland. We started early from the midgie infested hotel, my ankles covered in bites, still curious why they went for the ankles though. Off to Nashville we travelled with the sweet sound of country music and johnny cash which is starting to grow on me. When we got to the hostel it was a huge 5 storey building next to all the nightlife and restaurants. We went a local establishment and I got all the meats with mac and cheese.
