Very nice Inn which gets away from that stereotyped American B&B with frills, patterned carpets and floral wallpaper. Gaige house is beautifully decorated in an Asian, minimalistic style. Beds super comfortable. Staff very helpful. And great breakfasts.

A quick wander around the town (approx 6 shops) and then we drove on highway 1 stopping at a few view points, did a short walk to the cliffs edge but turned around when the next part of the path way straight down. Then back for dinner with the Hedlund's and a movie Epic, ...

... I toured the city and made our way to Haight/Ashbury. Michael found some much needed loafers at the Goodwill ,since he hadn't been able to find his other shoes from the last stop. The hills in San Fran are NO joke!!! Holy crack a monkey these streets have a vertical incline that feel like 90* but probably closer to 80*. I don't know that to be true ,but they were steeper than any mountain we climbed the whole trip!! It was 4th of July and we were in San Francisco. After a good ...

... go into the office and see some of the people that I spent time with while I was over here last summer. After lunch I took the Bart (SF's underground) and headed into the city to meet the guy I'm going to be travelling with for the next two weeks. We met near Delores Park and got to know each other a bit before we set off together this week. He seems like a very nice person! I think it'll be ...
