Very nice Inn which gets away from that stereotyped American B&B with frills, patterned carpets and floral wallpaper. Gaige house is beautifully decorated in an Asian, minimalistic style. Beds super comfortable. Staff very helpful. And great breakfasts.

Arriving in Glen Ellen, I found that this is Sonoma County, wine country and the home of the famous Jack London Lodge. Now I don't know much about any of this but it was fun to see the beautiful views and the historical figures along the route to our destination to yet another of my good friends who opened their home for us to stay. This is where we first learned of the America's Cup ...

We then spent the afternoon at the shops. We went to get me a pair of jeans and ended up with bags and bags of stuff. It is incredibly cheap compared to Australia.
