... speed limit on those roads, eg Bucketts Way, Oxley Highway etc

  • Driving in the afternoon from east to west - expect the sun in your eyes and it can be “blinding”
  • Take at least 3 days to drive both ways - there’s plenty to see along the way if you like to stop and look around. Our two days each way was very rushed and we did not spend as much time taking our time at various places as we would have liked.

    ... Opera House. As you can image the views were spectacular. Once we arrived at the Zoo we headed to the Koala walk-about where we saw a number of Koala sleeping in the trees. Many of them were curled up in what looked like very uncomfortable positions, but regardless they are so cute.
