What a fun place, it was an unplanned trip. After the show we decided to go check out the ferry dock, then there was a ferry leaving so we decided to ride over to Friday Harbor for dinner, then we decided to walk to a small inn and spend the night, then we walked to the rental car agency and got some wheels, then we spent another night on the island, then......
... to 'war' in 1859-1872 over the death of a pig and who owned the territory - it all ended amicably in the end with America getting the territory. We also saw the Alpaca Farm, plenty of deers, Roche Harbour and then drove back down the east side back to Friday Harbour and our room. We all (4) squeezed into the bed and actually had a pretty good nights sleep!

She continued to tell us that today was one of those days so off she skipped 'tralala' all the way to the store. We decided that since it would take us some time to get to the ferry because we were biking we would catch the 11:55am ferry. It was a 6 mile bike ride to the ferry so we headed out at 10:30am to give us plenty of time.
