... Egypt it was so lovely to roam around without being hassled and we really enjoyed the friendly people and atmosphere of this pretty island. We made our way up the hill to the windmills, enjoyed a coffee and walked all through the narrow roads and lanes until we came across a Greek bakery where we stopped to enjoy "honey fritters". We had to be back at the ship by 1pm so we only had around 4 hours ...
The stop in Mykonos was uneventful and pretty relaxing. OK meal in a local joint and the streets are famous for being a maze which has a sort of charm. We didn't have lovely weather but just a bit overcast and windy.
All in all, an OK place but we much preferred Santorini.
... my favorites were Disco 69 and Orange Bar. Slammer Bar was also really fun, if you buy a slammer shot you get given a helmet and the bar tender 'slams' you over the head with a fire hydrant, his foot, a chair... Basically anything he feels like. At Flames Bar there is face painting, which is always a fun idea when your drunk but you regret it the next morning when you wake up with smudged paint all over your face and pillow. I got us passes to one of the lounges at Gatwick, which was a bit dull but had breakfast and flew out on a less than glamorous, but half empty Easyjet flight and within a few hours we were sitting at a restaurant in the sun sipping cocktails.
