... was overpowering probably due to the counters having yet to be wiped down. There was still a fair amount of blood and guts strewn around the place. One fishmonger was beating the **** out of something with a big stick but we couldn't see what it was as he was behind a counter. I’m assuming it was a large fish and not one of his employees caught sleeping on the job!!

... I thought we could go to a different Emirate and see the old fish market where the boats come in but either this doesn't happen any more or we couldn't convey it to Abdul.
We shared some dive stories with the lady who was from the Philippines and knows the area there where we dive. Then we put our gear back in the car and climb in for the trip back. We think we have explained to Abdul what we'd like to do on the way back ...
... our last stop of the day, we headed back into the mountains in the direction of Dubai. After about 45 minutes, the landscape changed once again, and this time, it was red sand dunes that we saw. If I'm honest, I will admit that I shed some tears when I saw them. I remember looking at my dad's National Geographic magazines as a child and being mesmerized by the pictures of the sand dunes of the Sahara. I've always wanted to see that, and this comes pretty close. It was so cool ...
... lost. No matter how hard we try, we cannot get those points. Again, we hooted and laughed the 30 minutes of playing.
We dined again in CR for dinner. Rich went out of his box and tried an eggplant roll with smoked ham and buffalo cheese with a roasted tomato sauce as his appetizer. I had this before and thought it was very good. He enjoyed it and was glad that he tried it.
Tomorrow we will be in Muscat, Oman.

... essayé d’aller à des chutes d’eau, mais il devait y avoir des milliers de gens là-bas… tous à chercher un peu d’ombre et certains qui s’assoient sous le peu d’arbres trouvés pour faire un pique nique… Des familles entières font des barbecues un peu partout… c’est la fin du ramadan.
