My last two days in Tenerife

A travel blog entry by btfreder on Jun 21, 2014

... with my friends on the beach for the last time, have a few well deserved drinks, talk with Avi (from UIowa) about MCAT and premed course work, walk on the most jagged rocks I think I've ever been on, get sunburned on my legs (AGAIN), take some embarrassingly ridiculous selfies, interrupt a game of rugby between Spaniards, and get lost in the beauty of my favorite place in the north of Tenerife. ... session. I've really enjoyed going to this seminar, even though it's only once a week and rarely lasts an entire hour, because the topics we discuss are interesting and offer a new perspective on how to become a doctor in the modern medical system. The four hour flight from Gatwick was wonderful, (mainly because I had spent too long grounded in the UK), regretfully the airport assistance was needed to transfer me from the check-in to the aircraft. ...

    Week3---WEEKEND---week4

... soup, fried cheese with honey and basil sauces, huge plates of chicken and ribs, and then finished the whole thing off with some cake. The people around me were mostly vegetarians, so I got to eat a lot of ribs and chicken--practically all of it actually--so by the time we got to the bus I was so full I felt like I was going to throw up. It was so worth it though.

It was so cool to meet our new fellows, and I loved going to the beach and seeing the mountains, so I had ...
