    ... amp; simplicity.

    Ocala, St. Augustine, Savannah, GA & for the past 2 weeks, we have been reluctant to leave our spot in Appling, GA. Our first Corp. of Engineers site that exceeds all expectations!

    Leaving Friday for Columbia, SC then Charlotte, NC for a week, then several stops in & around Virginia, WV.

    Athens, OH, we will see you on the 25th of May! Nothing like celebrating a good 40th Birthday!!

    As we didn't want to stay too long in Florence we take the I-20 to Columbus and then the US-378 to McCormick. We find a good spot to stay: the Savanna Lakes Resort and Marina. It's newly (re-)opened and it seems we're the only guests. We got a room close to the lake and enjoy a very quiet night. ...
