          ... Police Boat T13 and the plan is to sink it on Saturday (with a suitable ceremony planned for spectators on the shore). Over time it is hoped that a reef will develop around the wreck and improve the ecology of the area (as well as providing dive operators with another dive site).

          ... time. I think he’d enjoyed his visit but it wasn’t easy to tell. I’d certainly enjoyed showing him around some of my regular haunts and giving him a little taste of my lovely lifestyle in this laidback corner of the Tropics.

          Dominating the news all day had been the story of the Malaysia Airlines flight missing somewhere en route between Kuala Lumpur and Beijing. Phil’s homeward journey tomorrow would be with that very airline via Kuala Lumpur.

          ... arrived at around 11.00pm after the quiz had finished. She is a bit of a party animal and soon had everyone (except for me) signed up to go by taxi or motorbike over to Bang Niang Beach for a full moon party. After a few hours at the beach, I heard later, they returned to the Monkey Bar in Bang Niang where they continued drinking until 5.00am!

          ... I think you'll enjoy it ! (it's set to the super-annoying new worldwide dance sensation: What Does the Fox Say) Fredi, our new friend from Switzerland, was awesome with his photography skills -- and I'll hopefully have a link to his video shortly showing what we saw underwater.

          The MV Pawara is a 35 meter diving vessel, and is one of the best quality ships in the region. The staff was fantastic -- very nice ...

          ... some of the ingredients and the basic cooking facilities. We hardly saw anything of Ken as he beavered away in the kitchen but food kept arriving - beef consomme to start with, then roast chicken, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, carrots, cabbage, stuffing, apple sauce and gravy.
