Lots of really nice people in the Dragonboat world and sat beside a really nice Irish family today. Their son is paddling for Australia so they came over to watch. Well today has been a bitter sweet day. We started this morning to learn that our darling Katie's grandmother has passed away so we send our prayers and love to all the Bertsos clan .

Warren has the flu and woke up very ordinary but the trooper that he is, he paddled in the mixed 2000m race in which he was stroke, ie sets the pace, and won the Gold medal. Australia is now the world champions in senior C(over 60). This afternoon he repeated the ...

The team went off to have training at the venue this morning.
I checked out the thermal pools which is attached to the hotel. The medicinal pools were green and very hot but the first one had floaty things which I didn't quite feel comfortable there. I tried all the jacuzzi pools but came back waiting for Warren to return.

I was going to Romania but not via Szeged. But that's where I am, and tomorrow Romania.
