      Liverpool

What can I say about Liverpool? It is a port city, historical, industrial city. It has a lot of full bars, even on a Sunday. And that's not a good thing From what iv seen its a hard working town. From what I read, Liverpool is a very safe city. It doesn't ...

Liverpool was a balance between York and Manchester. The city life definitely accessible but it was still cosy and romantic. We enjoyed walking along the docks and looking at the ships moored along the shore of the river whilst devouring some epically delicious homemade fudge!

Highlights definitely include the evening spent at the Cavern Club singing and dancing to Beatles tribute songs and the Tuk Tuk drive through the city.

After our delicious meal we went along to the Neptune Lounge to get good seats for the show. We spent some time watching the dancing couples (we don’t join in because we don’t know how to do ballroom dancing), then it was time for tonight’s show, which was billed as a ...

... what are our listeners doing today? Anything exciting? Send us a text and let us know.” So I’d texted in, telling them we were off up above the Arctic Circle, hopefully to see the Northern Lights. I’d signed the message “Debbie from Durham” and the two ladies we were speaking to had heard it! Particularly since the DJ had been talking about it quite a lot. An amazing coincidence.

During the cocktail party we enjoyed a couple ...
