Our favorite experience in Australia was hiking for two days in the Blue Mountains which are a two hour train ride from Sydney. Our first day involved a three-hour hike to a grassy clearing that tends to be frequented by kangaroos. We saw plenty of kangaroo scat but no actual kangaroos. Again though the weather failed to aid the views or our comfort levels. ... next day exploring Sydney CBD a bit more so after a well deserved lie-in I made my way to Darling Harbour. This part of the city is actually lovely, lined with nice looking restaurants and coffee shops - even a Guylian Chocolate Cafe and a Lindt Chocolate Cafe......my sort of town!!!
