  • If you take an esky, plastic plates, cutlery and some food/drink, you can easily fix your own breakfast and maybe lunch if you want to. Some of the country towns do charge quite a lot for dining in and for coffee as we found out.
  • Take time to talk to the locals - they are a friendly bunch and seem to like having visitors call in on their towns
