... in the middle of the ocean and after only a few minutes the ferry appeared on the horizon. It was a smaller ferry and within a short time we were on board sat on the deck dangling our feet over the side and being sprayed by the surf as the boat headed for Krabi. There were locals on board already selling mini van transfers so we bagged a 400 baht (£8) transfer direct to our hotel, the Maleedee. We were off the ferry, onto the Mini van and at the hotel in no time and ...

We were attempting a snorkelling trip again today.we got the ferry over to phi phi then were taken out on a long boat to phi phi lay. We went to monkey beach first to see the monkeys then round the corner to a amazing rock cove for some snorkelling. There were loads of parrot fish and striped fish. Beano finally snorkelled. He was so happy to realise you can still breath under water. It was great to be doing it together. We went to maya beach for lunch. For a deserted island ...
