As its the middle of go season all the prices got rooms have pretty much doubled since September and its a shock, especially as the last few countries have been super cheap! The room we found was ok. It had a fan and a window - looking out onto a massive pile of rubbish- it had ...

... as to why we were planning to head up the mountain in rainy season and did a pretty good job talking us out of it. So writing off our 7am wake up call we went for another night out with Marcus and after meeting up with the instructors, Lauren and Zoe had been convinced to do their advanced course while Matty had agreed to finish off his open water course. Another reason not to climb the mountain I guess! Yet another round of bed bugs for Lauren ...

... had a lovely dinner in town, although I don't really think mine counted as a shrimp Pad Thai as there was only 2 prawns on there, but it was still tasty! After a wander round town we were treated to a fire show in the beach by a couple of performers which was just mind-blowing, I was mesmerised the whole time! Today we headed to Krabi on the mainland for the day to have a look around the town, after a really good lunch of cat fish curry we went to the Tiger Temple on ...
