This was a basic but very clean and quiet hotel in a lovely residential area in Kirribilli. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed. It was close to bars, restaurants and the Milsons Point train station. There was a lovely little courtyard with a view over Neutral Bay. The service was minimal, but friendly. Awesome walk over the Sydney Harbour bridge to the Rocks. Thanks for the suggestion, Gebby (hotel manager). I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone who wanted a reasonably priced room near the Sydney CBD.

... certainly need one today, as the car thermometer said it was a chilly 3oC at the start of our decent back down to Sydney. As Sydney began to appear on the horizon, the song ‘Way We Were’ by Barbara Streisand so very aptly came on the radio; with the Lyrics “Memories…like the corners of my mind. Misty, water coloured memories of the way we were”. It was like looking into the future as we drew nearer and nearer. Looking at ...

It’s where all unaccompanied minors are seated and as we had been unable to change seating on Friday, as the lady that had helped me indicated, awe would be seated together…at the back! There was an unaccompanied minor girl in the window seat and she was about 11-12. Karly was really nice to her ...

... wheels as my rucksack has had enough! Back to the hostel we had an afternoon nap to catch up on some sleep. Woke up later, food shopped and then made dinner. Then it was off to sleep...again! Woke up early to the familiar sound of snoring! So decided to get up and shower. Attempted to make dippy eggs for breakfast but without egg cups this turned into boiled egg sandwiches - still a tasty breakfast ...

Ended up running a bit late this morning as the girls seemed to take forever getting ready - not that it mattered though. So we got the 10.30am ferry from Circular Quay to Manly - it was the perfect day to go with beautiful sunshine and temperatures around 27 degrees!

We hired bikes so we could see the very long beach and surroundings, however this wasn't the experience we thought it would be. ...
