Up early, enjoyed a cup of tea in the small courtyard while we decided on our plans for the day.
Set off about 8:30 for Sydney across the Sydney Harbour Bridge along with several commuters. Amazing views of the Opera House.
Landed in The Rocks, which is a rather trendy shopping district with cafes and small shops. While waiting …

This was a basic but very clean and quiet hotel in a lovely residential area in Kirribilli. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed. It was close to bars, restaurants and the Milsons Point train station. There was a lovely little courtyard with a view over Neutral Bay. The service was minimal, but friendly. Awesome walk over the Sydney Harbour bridge to the Rocks. Thanks for the suggestion, Gebby (hotel manager). I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone who wanted a reasonably priced room near the Sydney CBD.
