This was a basic but very clean and quiet hotel in a lovely residential area in Kirribilli. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed. It was close to bars, restaurants and the Milsons Point train station. There was a lovely little courtyard with a view over Neutral Bay. The service was minimal, but friendly. Awesome walk over the Sydney Harbour bridge to the Rocks. Thanks for the suggestion, Gebby (hotel manager). I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone who wanted a reasonably priced room near the Sydney CBD.

... the variety of plants and trees. We came across old WW1 gun placements and a bunker. Despite the time that has passed, it still seemed eerie walking around there. As we continued our walk the sun came out to reveal a rainbow. Around this time I noticed Nicole had a hitchhiker! The biggest stick insect I'd ever seen had hopped onto her coat at some point and she had no idea. We popped him or her back on a tree before moving on.

We all went in on our last day for a walk across Sydney Harbour Bridge, we have to say well done to Mel who is not a fan of heights, she still came with us and walked all the way across, go Mel! The bridge looks quite small from some angles but when you get onto it you realise exactly how high up you really are and how small things like the Opera House ...

... br> The first thought that I've had about it is that Blogs are possibly the reason why no one seems to get anything done these days, as it has taken me AGES just to set this stuff up! And I haven't even done anything yet!! It might take me a little while to get caught up, and up to date with everything, but please bear with me.

For now, thanks for find the blog, and I will try and get caught up with Delhi (where we go first) in the next couple of days!

... a landmark view of Sydney CBD, with the skyscrapers reaching for the skies behind Circular Quay Ferry Terminal. Though it is common for the ferries to be a part of the waters in the cove, a cruise liner "Radiance Of The Seas" was also anchored in the cove, sending waves of luxury through the cove, along with the tourist speed boats and few sailing boats making their way under the Harbour Bridge.
