This was a basic but very clean and quiet hotel in a lovely residential area in Kirribilli. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed. It was close to bars, restaurants and the Milsons Point train station. There was a lovely little courtyard with a view over Neutral Bay. The service was minimal, but friendly. Awesome walk over the Sydney Harbour bridge to the Rocks. Thanks for the suggestion, Gebby (hotel manager). I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone who wanted a reasonably priced room near the Sydney CBD.

The Rocks was that first settlement made up of penal colony residents – seems the Irish were particularly notable. Also seems that forgers were prominent on the shipped-out list too. Soon after their arrival, one forger started the first newspaper. We figure murderers ...

Awed by the view, and the weather taking a turn towards a slightly cold winds and clouds closing in, I continued my walk along the sea-wall towards Sydney Opera House.

We slept in and woke up to a beautiful sunny day somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. We had a very leisurely day, eating, drinking, relaxing and enjoying life on board Rhapsody. After another magnificent meal,

we were treated to the only international touring Queen experience show - Killer Queen. A great performance and show with all your favourite Queen songs. Rhapsody was rocking tonight!

We were transported to Rotorua where we boarded the Lakeland Queen for our lunch cruise on lake Rotorua. While on board we were entertained by a Maori cultural group. Following lunch we traveled to Rainbow Springs for a short stop to view the Kiwi bird as well as some large rainbow trout. Then back to the ship and departure ...

The hotel has a pool and a hot tub on the roof and it is only the 8th floor so very civilised! No bar up there which is a shame.......improvements to recommend.
We had a helicopter ride booked for this morning so had an interesting journey to get to that. We took a train, a double decker no less with not that many people travelling in it! If you go to the airport which was the nearest stop you pay $36 if you get off one stop before you pay $8 all to do ...
