It was our first proper experience of Argentine steak and it did not disappoint - they have perfected grilling beef, instilling a salty smoky outer layer to the meat. James had previously taken some Spanish lessons and was able to hold a conversation with the locals. station early, as ever, as only 2 seats left and then only to Santiago.

Were all really crammed in and the strangely shaded windows
didn’t improve the view – endless dry chaco with cactus and cotton. At first, I
thought all the white stuff on the verges was kapok from the numerous tree

... and go to the suburb of San Telmo for their famous street market which is probably the best thing to do on a Sunday. Its basically 12 blocks of markets and stalls down the one street and anything can be bought from clothing to arts and crafts to eating food to watching tango on the street.

Atmosphere is electric!!! Argentina ticketek have totally over sold the grandstand I'm in there's no room, except underneath the grandstand on the scaffolding. Moto 3 was the race of the day! The battle between the top 5 was epic! What a shame jack miller got bumped off first place. The bus ride back to the main town was a highlight too! Thousands of people meet up at the main roundabout and que for a bus in between the cars and bikes. In front of me a group of people see ...
