... smoothie was beautiful and the food was ok, pete had a steak, and Ben wasn't wrong when he said they like to really cook their steak here. Well done, oh he's it was! I had a chicken and pancake dish which was ok, but not my best choice. The bread though, boy oh boy they make mean bread here! ... Sunday, Monday and Tuesday: The rest of the week followed a similar pattern. After two weeks of constant movement the days by the beach felt well deserved. We sunbathed and socialised until Tuesday, at which point I was ready to go home and rest before my next adventure to South East Asia on Sunday. Playa del Carmen. A very nice place where one can party till your head falls off or chill out and soak it all in.

After checking out the usual tourist sites around Playa, Tulum with the ruins on the beach and snorkelling at Cozumel Island (Which was not impressive at all! We are spoiled for snorkeling after Coral Bay) we decided we want to check out the number two thing to do on Trip Advisor.
