Then, we made our way to Bar Aviles to meet Hector. The guys had a beer and we all chatted. Then our evening of bar hopping began. We went to another place and then eventually made our way to Corazon del Diamante, a bar where Hector's girlfriend works. Apparently ...

... the mountains following the river Cares. Although it is only possible to see the river occasional due to it being too far below the path it is possible to hear it. The walk is about 24 kilometers there and back. Approx 16 miles. We have never been on such a spectacular walk. The path clings to the cliff face hundreds of meters above the gorge and burrows through solid rock. It is very difficult to describe adequately.

... filled with bars, 31 de Agosto, I found a small bar with cheaper tapas (150 ptas). The locals were drinking what I thought was whisky but what turned out to be small shots of beer. It is served in glasses called zurritos. Tapas and zurritos allow you to finish up quickly and move to neighbouring bars. It also means there are very few drunks in the street as you probably eat more than you drink. It was difficult getting to ...
