... and then took some pics of the Lagoon itself from the Dunes.

That night the 3 of us had a walk around the Lagoon, which is very pretty and surrounded by resturants and bars. People come from Lima for the weekend and party it out here and i can see why.

Bij schemerdonker kwamen we terug aan de oase, en hadden we nog een half uurtje om met een taxi naar het busstation te racen. Het was een helse rit, maar we waren net op tijd, helaas was de bus zelf meer dan een uur te laat. Rond 22u kwamen we uiteindelijk aan in Nazca.

... before our reservation time, we chose a later one because Freddie recommended that we do the 4pm so we can see the sunset in the sand dunes. As we waited we get a bit bored and Juan gives me the idea to plank on some bench lol so I did, and the picture is hilarious, there is this lady on the other bench just looking at me like what the hell is he doing? ... of Peru but decided to break up this 26 hour journey by spending a day in the oasis town of Hucachino. This town is the starting point to go out in dune buggies, driving all over these sand monoliths.....and to go Sandboarding. We tried sandboarding down a few hills but it was too ******* their makeshift boards. We did get good at sliding down on our bellies and went to some huge dunes and got some serious speed, Lucy ...
