... dessert on the way, I got up and announced that it was Paul's birthday and could we take a group photo. People were so accommodating. Tatyana stood up and asked if she could sing a traditional song from her country as a gift to Paul. It was lovely. Dessert was Tarta de Santiago, a delicious almond tart! ... have pulled up a chair and have dinner with them, but we had to get cracking! We bade them farewell and set off. The walk was amazing! More views over deep valleys with mountain ranges seemingly going on forever. The twilight made it even more beautiful as the subtle hues changed with each turn.
