... and found another cyclist travel blog about camping there. The officer ended up saying it was OK. I had a really grueling day of biking. It's a little hilly out here, and there's a constant east-facing headwind. Several times today, I was biking and got chased by farm dogs. No one has fences out here. Something about bikes makes dogs flip out. One in particular gave me a pretty good scare. It was enough to get off and put my bike between the two of us. ...

Time is getting close for our travels to Italy. We are excited; our adventures will include: Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, Florence, Tuscany, Pisa, Venice, Milan and the Italian and Swiss Alps.

Plane and train tickets have been purchased a well as tickets to several historical sights - Vatican, Academy of the Arts (David) and Uffizi Gallery.
