A Day at the Vatican

A travel blog entry by daynaholt

Today we spent the entire day at the Vatican Museums. What an amazing place. So much art, antiquities, and history. We took our time and soaked it all in. At the end of the day we were quite tired, but found a small restaurant near our hotel tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Good food and fun family atmosphere.

Tomorrow we plan to see the ancient ruins of Rome.

The good, the bad and the ugly! - THE UGLY PART

A travel blog entry by megan.griffin

... Ghost and Mystery tour. The tour began at 9.15 and we were guided through the back streets of Rome. Among the many disturbing and humorous things we saw and were told was about a woman who made her fortunes by killing other people's husband by using water... Laced with lead and other various toxic metals. I found this quite amusing. We also were told stories of corrupt Popes, Prostitutes, Ghosts, Murderers, Rape and Executions all of which painted a ...
