Travel Blogs from Rome
Today we spent the entire day at the Vatican Museums. What an amazing place. So much art, antiquities, and history. We took our time and soaked it all in. At the end of the day we were quite tired, but found a small restaurant near our hotel tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Good food and fun family atmosphere.
Tomorrow we plan to see the ancient ruins of Rome.
Today, we planned to see the ruins of ancient Rome and tour the catacombs. We ended up not having time to make it to the catacombs, but we did see the Colloseum, the Palantino, the Forum, The Pantheon, Navona Piazza, lovely quaint neighborhoods.

... piazza Navone, to the Pantheon and then to Campo di Fiori, where we decided to leave and then head towards Grottapinta where you get a bit of a creepy feeling. We find a trattoria on a side street. S Anna ristorante and have nice dinner, with some lovely refreshing rose, and a nice slice of delicious Nonna torte.Then back to their hotel and I leave them to go to my hotel and the taxi gets lost! 45 minutes later than it should be...
