I have to say that because the Hostel I was staying in was really good, I went out and Partied quite a bit in San Diego, playing quarters and Cards against humanity and enjoying the nightllife with a lot of other guests. They also had 3 free meals a week which meant that I could enjoy some more expensive dining at other times. At 12-15 dollars the Spaghetti factory wasnt too expensive ...

At least I had the right time of day on my side as I was headed due west, driving right into a gorgeous orange fireball of light. ... the lobby I noticed that there was a lovely blue pool outside and spacious barbecue area. When I arrived at my room I saw that it had a basic kitchen and bathroom with double beds and a fair amount of space for the kids to relax. For these reasons I believe it would be an ideal hotel for students to stay at while on their trip to San Diego.

This morning, Paul and I slept through our alarm so we missed the contiki bus to Mission Beach. Luckily, the weather was overcast so we didn't feel like we were missing out. Although, we were very lucky in that, after breakfast, our lovely hotel lobby guy drove us to the beach to catch up with our tour.

The beach was pretty but the weather was forecast to rain so it was overcast and windy. After an hour there, we caught the contiki coach to Seaworld. We ...
