... anniversary today. Old Town is area with lots of Mexican restaurants, stores and a sprinkling of historic buildings. After a great lunch and a browse around, we boarded the tram to continue the tour.

The harbour area was our next stop and we drove past the Midway which is a huge aircraft carrier museum. At the next stop (Seaport ...

Arrived in San Diego Tuesday afternoon & booked into the local KOA campground. We walked down the road to Super Sergio's Mexican Kitchen & over ordered. The meals were massive, cheap & delicious! Walked back to the van feeling full. The next day we slept in a bit & then headed in to San Diego for the day. Had brekkie at a Deli which was yummy & healthy (for once). Brought a day pass for their public transport ...

... All in all, a good bunch.

The first day down there I went back to Coronado Island and found a nice spot to read my book on the beach. The following day I decided to catch a bus up to La Jolla since the beach up there is one of the most photographed in all of California. It was easy to see why once I was there, one section is closed off to the public and is a safe-haven for hundreds of seals. A lot had there recently born pups swimming in the water ...
