    ... notable exception was a stretch that got very muddy (see pictures) and ultimately ended in a dead end. As it turns out, we learned from a forest service ranger we encountered that the road was in the process of being de-commissioned.

    Farragut State Park

    ... and moved and used as houses by locals. Today, the only building that remains is the concrete Brig which we visited and now houses a museum.

    Farragut State Park was returned to its original park conditions and now consists of campsites, bike and hiking trails, two boat launch ramps and several swimming areas.

    ... and thats hard to do when u are 37. but yet if u dont hang out with these people u literally just sit at ur campsite alone. not too many other people around my age. its not as if i didnt want to hang with them...just hard to try to party with people who try to blackout and then also brag about it like its cool or a goal. i dont understand that at 37....dont remember if i did when i was 21 though actually. like i said...good times were ...

    ... them with us. This time it seemed like a lot of people learned their lesson from the last party and everyone stayed vertical by the end of this trip as compared to last time. This was most likely the last boat party of the summer. I am writing this blog on Aug 23 actually and a few people started leaving for school already...and to be honest the nights are starting to get cold again. The summer season here is so short.
