It was quite misty when we set off, but as we travelled the weather improved. All the time the temperatures were very comfortable, with both of us wearing just jeans, a couple of layers (being a fresh morning) and jackets. As we climbed it did get cooler, but nothing that would warrant more layers.

... walk round the town, which was just clearing up after some sort of celebration. The streets were full of pink and white paper heart shaped confetti, there were the remnants of the band sitting down in the square for a drink... lots of people having a jolly good time, the local unfortunate and a few random dogs.
There were not many bistros, but we chose the one in the square and walked in for supper.
