... no.2! After an hour's drive we were transferred to a boat where we then travelled a further two hours on the river. On the way we saw dolphins! We had expected to see pink river dolphins so we were surprised to see several grey ones swimming in small pods not too far from the boat.

We got up right on breakfast time today. It was scrabbled eggs and salad. They give you this evil looking white bread each morning so we were lucky we brought our own whole meal bread. This morning we were going to go try to spot the dolphins. We headed out in the motor boat into the Amazon River. We passed locals fishing for catfish the traditional way as we drove up the river.
