... tigers lurking above on either wall. The entire exterior of the stadium has gargoyle like tiger heads, with a glowing baseball in their mouths, high on the walls. The back wall of the stadium even looks like a tiger's cage you would see in a zoo. Once inside the tiger attack continues. Two tigers flank the "Tigers" shaped screen atop the scoreboard, kids (and a couple adults) walk around with tiger face paint and the kids' carousel doesn't have horses but ...

Among them were Ernie and Kerry DeCarlo. I met Kerry in the lobby where she walked up to hear the Australian accent. But she didn't think there was an accent!

Kerry is an Australian who's married to an American, they live six months of each year in each country. "I just want to hear someone talk without an accent!" she said. We had a long chat before it was time to go in.

P.S. Since I have spent the last two years studying Japanese language, I feel a little like I am cheating on my dream to go to Japan. I will make it there too someday.
